Every Visit, One-on-One
Every visit at Valley PT is one-on-one, cash-pay, and built around finding the actual mechanical cause of a problem — not just treating the symptom. That means a full movement assessment before a treatment plan is written, and a session that's never split between a PT and a tech managing several patients at once.
Built Around the Patient, Not the Reimbursement
Valley PT & Sports Performance opened in 2024, built on the belief that physical therapy works best when a session isn't dictated by what an insurance company will reimburse. Cash-pay makes it possible to spend real time on assessment, treatment, and education — every visit, every patient.
A runner treating runners
A former Division I collegiate runner and current recreational runner, which is part of why return-to-running programs are a specialty at Valley PT — not just a service offering, but a perspective built from actually training and racing.
Competitive running goes back to high school — record holder in the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m — through Division I competition at St. Lawrence University and Appalachian State, and continues today. In 2024, that included qualifying for and running the NYC Marathon in 2:47.
Staying an active runner keeps me directly in touch with what runners' bodies are actually up against, especially as we age — and it shapes every return-to-sport plan built here.
